In this course, students will build a strong study foundation by learning to identify important information, to organize it, and to apply their knowledge. The workshop is a hands-on experience using engaging activities that develop time management, personal organization, note taking, and study strategies.
Participants will examine their own study habits and discover what practices may or may not be effective. The course allows students to practice and master the study skills, study habits, and self-management techniques needed for mastering their homework assignments and commitments in all courses.
The goals of this workshop are that students learn more, get higher grades and test scores, have a better attitude about teachers and school, and increase their self-confidence and self-esteem.
